Yesterday marked an important milestone for the newly built hospital as it welcomed its first patient through the doors.
Located within the Noosa Health Precinct, Noosa Day Hospital is a new multidisciplinary facility designed to support the growing healthcare needs of the region. It features three state-of-the-art operating theatres equipped with modern surgical technology, alongside contemporary recovery and patient care areas.
The hospital supports a broad range of specialties, including ophthalmology, gastroenterology, general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, breast surgery, pain management and Mohs surgery.
With established consulting suites for specialists and allied health professionals also located within the precinct, the hospital forms part of a centralised hub for surgical, pre-operative and post-operative care.
Noosa Day Hospital is now live with FYDO, Altura Health’s Patient Administration System, and the Preadmit Digital Patient Portal.
Together, FYDO and Preadmit will help the hospital establish connected workflows from its first day of operation. By streamlining patient administration and digitising the pre-admission journey, the systems will help reduce paperwork, improve the flow of patient information and give staff more time to focus on delivering exceptional care.
