Tech Test – Sydney

The following questions are meant to assess your attention to detail, problem solving and research skills.

This assessment is not to find if you are an expert in these areas, but rather it shows us how you troubleshoot and try to solve problems. So if anything is not clear, please send an email to info@alturahealth.com.au with the subject line ‘Question about technical assessment’. If you do not your send your email with this subject line, your email will be ignored.

If you can’t solve any of the tasks, no problem. Show us what you did to try to solve the problem and what road blocks you encountered. This will help us understand how you tried to solve the problem. You will not be overlooked because you could not solve the task. We are interested in how you tried to solve the task.

Technical Assessment

  1. Describe how you would find out the public IP of a computer with internet access.
  2. Describe how you would find the local/internal IP of a computer.
  3. Download the following spreadsheet, then find the duplicate model numbers. Then attach the list of duplicates in spreadsheet format and in the email also briefly describe how you identified the duplicates.
    Note that you do not have to clean the list (i.e., if your list of duplicates is “modelA, modelB, modelA, modelA,” you do not have to delete the other instances of “modelA.”)Excel Test
  4. Setup a Google form to collect answers about Service Quality. Pretend this form/survey will be sent to clients to rate our service. Send the form link in your email. The form should have the following fields:
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
    • Were you satisfied with the service provided in this call?
      • Answer options: Yes, No
    • Did you find the representative helpful, respectful and professional in his/her dealings?
      • Answer options: Yes, No
    • Rate our service 1 to 5, with 5 being the best.
      • Answer options: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

In the body of the email, answer each question starting with the question number followed by the answer.

Also attach your resume and/or cover letter.
